Week 12

The experienced most valuable to me, was everything. I enjoyed working at Jittery Joe's helping the students out and our faculty. I very muches loved the place I was in and how people looked at me and knew I was the one who was working at Jittery Joes, and how Ipeople said how polite I was. I enjoyed working here.

Week 11

I want to be under Criminal Justice. I feel like I would most defenitely be a good CSI, or a police. I dont know what kind of background, or education this requiers ome to do, but I will find out soon.

Week 10

My greates achivement in school would have to be me and my family. I have to wake up every morning shower, shower my son, dress both of us up, get his stuff ready and get my stuff ready too. I have to be here at 9:15 a.m. and I thik that is one of my biggest achievemtns because I try to et here on time get my son in daycare and start day learning and end the day learning. I always learn something new no matter the place or time.

Week 9

The most difficult part about working at Jittery Joe's was the fact that as a student manager I had to also talk to my peers, and at times tell them what they had to do and when they had to do it. I am a really nice person and no matter ho nicely I told my peers what was expected of them, they would take it as if I was being beign mean. I think if I could go back to the begining of the semester I would change the fact that I never really told them anything, because I needed to play my part as a student manager.

Week 8

If we were getting paid to work at Jittery Joe's instead of course credit, I think that would be so much better. I feel this way because I have a son a son and it wouldn't hurt to get a little extra money here and there. But either way I have always looked at money as a reward for my hard work, so I dont just spend it on random unneccesary thing, I spend money wisely and spend it on things that I need.

Week 7

I have had bad customer experience. While working at Papa Johns Pizza, my current job I had a customer call and complain about not getting her order correctly. I simply ask the customer to hold, so I could get some manager advice on what I should do to make this person happy, and manager simply said that he had got what she order and there was nothing I could say or do. I got back on the phone and explained to her exactly what I was told and she completely went of on me called me names, and even cursed me out. I cursed back at her and hung up the phone. I ended calling the customer back to apologize, because it didn’t feel right that I disrespected a customer like that. After that day I tend to keep my cool and try to work everything out the right way even if the customer is cursing and screaming.

Week 6

While I am working I feel good and calm. I feel good about myself and how I am doing to improve. I feel calm because I know that after the 2 weeks of hard work, a check come into my bank account Friday morning. I love to work, but it has to be a job where I am constantly moving around and being interactive with people. I love dealing with people I believe that that is one of my set qualities of my personality.

Week 5

One time I had a problem with counting the money. That morning when I messed up I was extremely tired and didn’t really pay attention to what I was doing, I was just trying to finish and go. I count was off by 20 dollars. I couldn’t understand how it was that I was short in the drawer. I simply just counted all the money again, until I got it correct. I did end up correcting it and matched up my numbers to what I was suppose to have. I have learned that even though I am tired I have to take my time and count my money right so that I won’t get it wrong and end up getting accused for the missing money.

Week 4

Have I ever had friends ask me for free pastries or drinks? Yes, I have had not only friends but also random people. I simply just turn away and say “No, if I give you something for free I will get in trouble and the cash register will come out short.” People usually understand but then there are people who get all mad and just walk away. I feel like we shouldn’t give anything away unless this certain person do something to earn it, and if we mess up their order, then we can give them something for free. In the future I will continue to tell people I cant give stuff away, because that’s stealing if someone doesn’t pay for something and I don’t ever want to be the one paying for the crime.

Week 3

Tasks that can be done while we are slow and there is nothing else to do. I feel that we should all be productive at all times, and if we are using the computer that we are using it to do school work. Some tasks that I can see need to be needed is that sometimes we could go to the stock room and clean it out and organize. We can always Clean re stock eevrything.

Week 2

One of the best customer service exprience I've had, must be when I can communicate when the customer in a positive way, and when the customer can understand when we are out of merchandise and or when we are under maintance. One day I had a customer that needed a bagel but we were out of the bagel she wanted, so I decided to persuade her into purchasing a bagel that she had not tried. After that day this customer still thanks me becuase now that is the only bagel she will eat.

Week 1

Working at Jittery Joes is not my first experience with work. I am currently workin at Papa Johns Pizza and I have been there for about 7 months now. Before Papa Johns I used to work at a few restaurants as a waitress. The skills I have worked with that are helping me do good at this job would have to be dealing with cusomers. I have dealed with customers through out every job experienced I had. Something that can help me with other jobs would be that since I am student manager I have to do invntory and aware of what is needed and how I can help, so I feel like if I ever become a manager of any place I will already know what is to come.
